  • Feed My City

    Feed My City believe are a small group of volunteers who have come together to help feed people, who are need of a hot meal. This may include people in financial difficulty, in work poverty, homeless or anyone about to come homeless.

  • Manchester Community Response

    Manchester Community Response is the Council’s number for support for vulnerable residents. This is also the number to refer to for help with prescription delivery currently being supported by Be Well service and Care Navigation Service. If you live alone, are struggling to make ends meet, are self-isolating or generally in need of advice or support please contact us between 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Saturday.

    Assist is a small charity based in Withington that helps support older people living locally. With the help of over 40 volunteers we run a range of regular social activities, exercise classes and day trips as well as giving lifts, befriending, and advocacy.

  • Friends of Fletcher Moss Park and Parsonage Gardens

    Regular activities include a Volunteering session every Tuesday morning in Parsonage Gardens, a second Volunteering session every Wednesday afternoon at Fletcher Moss Park, and a Health Walk every Monday afternoon from the Visitor Centre at The Croft, Fletcher Moss.
