General Practice Expands Availability with Evening and Weekend Appointments
Our practice is collaborating with Barlow Medical Centre, Kingsway Medical Centre, and David Medical Centre to provide patients with routine appointments during evenings and weekends.
Starting October 1, 2022, Primary Care Networks—groups of General Practices working in unison to offer essential health and care services—will enhance access to pre-bookable, routine appointments during these times.
These enhanced access appointments may cover services such as cervical screening, childhood vaccination clinics, and health checks. Patients will have the opportunity to see a member of the general practice team, whether it be a GP, nurse, or other healthcare professional.
Appointments through enhanced access will take place at Barlow Medical Centre and Burnage Health Centre, and you may meet with a different clinician than usual. This clinician will have access to your health records and will provide care just like our usual team.
