Practice Staff
Our practice staff are here to help you with any problems to do with the organisation of the practice. Please do not hesitate to contact the practice manager or her staff it you need further information about the practice.

We are responsible for the organisation and smooth running of the practice. If you have any suggestions, queries or complaints please speak to either of us we will be happy to help.
The Receptionists: Maureen, Debbie, Ellen, Joanne, Jenny, Rachel and Kelly
The receptionists will help you with nurse appointments, repeat prescriptions etc. They try to accommodate everyone. Please try and give them as much information as possible when making an appointment, requesting home visits, or wishing to speak to the doctor this allows the staff to prioritise the doctors and nurses work. All information will be treated in strict confidence.
The Practice Nurses: Sr. Cathy Standing & Sr. Adrienne Booler
Our practice nurses are qualified to hold their own clinics and can advise on a variety of health problems. They run clinics designed to prevent illness. New patients will be invited to see the nurse to update medical details and offer general health advice. This introduction helps the doctor and nurse to know more about your medical history until they are provided with your medical file from your previous doctor.
They are qualified to carry out:
Cervical smears
Blood sampling
Ear syringing
Dressings & removing stitches
Dietary advice
Travel advice
Vaccinations |

Our staff “behind the scenes” ensure that the practice runs as smoothly as possible. This covers numerous areas including hospital referrals, scanning and recording all blood results and hospital data. Repeat prescriptions and phlebotomy are available and can be arranged through reception.
Health Visitor
Our health visitor monitors infant development, assessments, care of the under fives and their families as well as providing health education for all ages.
The health visitors are based at Burnage Healthcare Clinic. You can contact them on 0161 443 0610.
District Nurses
District nurses look after patients who need nursing care at home and undertake post-operative care for all ages, particularly older or chronically ill patients.
